Did anyone have this experience after 1-hour glucose test?
I had an appointment with my OB yesterday, at 25 weeks. Originally, she said that I would have my 1-hour glucose test at 27 weeks, but then yesterday she and the nurse said that I could just do it there. I didn't have to fast. So I did it, no problem, left, ran errands, went home,and made dinner. When DH and I started eating, I got a little lightheaded and woozy, like my blood sugar dropped suddenly. I had some OJ and some pretzels (in case it was blood pressure and not sugar), and then just felt really tired, but was okay otherwise.
Did anyone else experience that feeling of having their blood sugar drop 2-3 hours after drinking the glucose drink? Of course, now I'm nervous that that means that I do have GD.
Also, if I knew I was doing the test yesterday, I never would have had that really yummy piece of chocolate cake at work a few hours before...

No, I actually felt okay for the rest of the day... I was thinking I'd feel like crap... I only felt a bit "off" about 20 mins after drinking it, but even that went away by the time they drew my blood... Maybe it was due to something other than the drink since it happened so much later for you 
I took my test on Fri so I'm going to call today to see if I can get the results... You'd think someone would call me

Yes, I always get that dizzy, light headed feeling after I give blood. I certainly did feel that way with both pregnancies but then I felt fine after eating a FULL meal.

I did fast and they told me to not eat sugar for a few hours. They told me protein. I got a bagel with scrambled eggs on it and felt better

i didnt feel that way but i know a lot of people that did.
i failed the 1 hour and had to do the 3 hour. i passed the 3 hour but while i was waiting in the waiting room for the next blood draw i got soooo tired that i fell asleep sitting up in the chair!!

Strange - I just had mine this morning and i'm feeling nauseas witha stomach ache. I thought maybe because I did it first thing this morning and wasn't able to eat or drink yet, but I would think that would go away by now..

This happened to me as well. After falling asleep at the hospital I went home and slept for another 2 hours.
I'm still waiting to see if I passed the 3 hour
