Did anyone have pre-term contractions?
I've been feeling pretty lousy all week (hence why I haven't been on much) - I finally called the doctor about my cramps and he thinks I'm experiencing pre term contractions (I'm 31 weeks.)
He said exhaustion, dehydration, stress, etc could cause them. He said I really shouldn't worry unless they become stronger or more frequent. I'm having them sporadically throughout the day (every day this week) for about 15 minutes here/there.
I'm going to Cape May tomorrow for my babymoon (he said it's ok as long as its relaxing) - I just hope everything is ok.
Anyone else experience this?

I only experienced this once...and well, you know the outcome  
Take it easy....and cal the doctor if you feel the contractions getting worse.

I was getting them last week and I went to the doctor and she said that everything is fine.
They were very uncomfortable. And, the only way to describe it is that they feel like painful BH contrctions.
The Dr. said that it is pretty common and that my body is practicing. But, they are keeping a bit of a closer watch on me. (whatever that means).

I went into labor at 34 weeks, I was put on medication to stop the contractions for 2 weeks. i gave birth thankfully at fullterm (38weeks). I was under a lot of stress, so that did it at the time.

I started contracting at 24wks but mine were very regular (every 2-3minutes) which put me at risk for going into pre term labor. I had to go on medication for it as well as modified bedrest. I stopped the meds and went back to work at 34-35wks and was still contracting away. Everything turned out fine though as I delivered a healthy baby at 39wks.

Thanks everyone I'm so nervous - I'm not ready to have this baby quite yet!! I had no idea contractions felt like cramps!!! It's certainly not what I imagined them to be like!

i did, at about 30 weeks and it was from dehydration. just make sure you drink lots of water.
