Did anyone go to the
Infertility seminar earlier this month that was listed through LIF?
If so, was it worth it?
I just received the following information:
Thousands of couples have had babies with the help of CORNELL’S Center for Reproductive Medicine and Infertility of the Weill Cornell Medical College. In fact, over 12,500 IVF babies have been born as a result of treatment at our center.
Join us for an informative evening with:
Zev Rosenwaks, M.D. Director, The Center for Reproductive Medicine & Infertility
Dan Goldschlag, M.D. Assistant Professor of OB-GYN & Reproductive Medicine “Advances in Fertility Treatment”
Ina Cholst, M.D. Associate Professor of OB-GYN Coordinator, Oocyte (Egg) Donation Program “Egg Freezing and Fertility Preservation: What’s New”
Thursday, April 26th 5pm Registration, Refreshments & Tours 6-8pm Program Weill Greenberg Center 1305 York Avenue (70th St)
To reserve a seat call: 646-962-2525 Or email: [email protected]
www.ivf.org/events.html
And was wondering if it would be worth the trip into Manhattan.
TIA.

I do know that these Dr's are highly respected. I may go...I'd like a chance to pick a Dr's brain without making a consult.

Re: Did anyone go to the
I called the one that was advertised on this board. I asked the girl about it and she told me it was more like a meet and greet and try to drum up business. We did not go because we did not want to go to something like that. HTH

Re: Did anyone go to the
I went to the seminar last year with DH -- the AFA one held at the Grand Hyatt. It was totally worth it IMO.
I don't know about the Cornell meet & greet -- they have a great rep., but for some of the Drs. you have a long wait to get in. May be worth it tho!

I read Dr. Goldschlag's bio. My issue is anatomical and that seems to be his specialty. I wonder if he will be talking about surgeries when he talks about the advancement of fertility treatment or if his lecture will be based in IVF treatment.

Re: Did anyone go to the
Hi to all yes I went to the seminar in Garden City for RMA. It was really informative the speaker was Dr. Flisser who runs that location. He was really good and I will be making an appointment with them. I have heard of both RMA and Cornell and from what information I have gathered I will stick with seeing RMA, not worth it to go into the city if they are here on Long Island. HTH.
Not sure when they will give another seminar but I think that it is worth going to will try to keep you posted. I have an appointment for next week....
