Did anyone feel like this in early pregnancy?
Maybe it's b/c I had a m/c in the winter, but i'm just scared and trying not to be. Even though we heard a strong heartbeat Friday (YAY) I'm worried because suddenly on Monday my nausea stopped and I feel just, normal, or, not pregnant and it's worrying me. I know at 8 weeks there's not much to feel. But my doctor knows I worry and she just let me come in for some blood work. I'll go again Friday but she really didn't seem concerned. I'm not bleeding or cramping or anything and I don't want to stress myself or baby out, but as I'm sure you all know sometimes it's hard to control. And there is much to read online....which isn't always good.

Re: Did anyone feel like this in early pregnancy?
First of all Lana, Congratulations again! I actually just recently threw out Lana for a girl's name!
When I got pregnant with DS (2 months after a m/c) I was excited but very guarded. I was very happy to be pregnant again, and while I wasn't overly cautious about every single thing, I knew that until that baby was in my arms, anything could happen.
It's normal, and I was like you...I felt totally normal, no symptoms at all.
You will be fine. Just take it one day at a time and stop reading everything possible, you will go crazy!

I felt so normal in the beggining that at my 8 week appointment I told my doc there was no way there was a baby in there.... then they did the sonogram and proved me wrong!
Don't stress out - im sure everything is fine

Re: Did anyone feel like this in early pregnancy?
Yes, I felt the exact same way with this pregnancy--and probably because, like you, I had a miscarriage last year. Even when I had JUST heard the heartbeat or whatever, I just could not relax. I went and rented the Doppler around 14 wks, and then wouldn't you know...I suddenly relaxed and I don't even bother with it anymore. I've used it about 4 times...well, there's $80 down the drain!
I hope you are able to relax and enjoy very soon!
PS...Gina, as I was reading this thread, my 3 year old peeked over my shoulder and saw your avatar and said, "Look, Mommy, it's you!" I guess because we're both "curliegirls!!"

With every test you will feel a little bit better, hang in there! Remember, stress isn't good for either of you!

Re: Did anyone feel like this in early pregnancy?
Your anxiety is completely normal. With my first pregnancy and this pregnancy I have no symptoms of being pregnant other than being tired. No cravings or sickness, nothing! This always concerns me.....the first three months seems to be the most stressful for a lot of people!!
