did anyone else fill their bath tubs with water?
Last time for Sandy? I was very prepared. I left the water in the tub for a couple days and now my white bathtub is yellow. Did this happen to anyone else? Do you know why? Magic eraser is helping somewhat but slooowly. Please dont move this.

hard water maybe? I have hard water and filled my tubs for the last storm but they didnt turn yellow

nope... we have sewers not well water, and we aren't in an apartment complex so I don't think we'd be affected.

I heard a long time ago that ketchup is great for taking stains out of tubs. You might want to google how to do it, I think you have to let it sit a while (maybe overnight?) then scrub it off, although I don't completely remember.

i have no idea why but we clean our tub with a magic eraser and a paste of baking soda, dish soap and sometimes vinegar. that should get it out.

maybe try scrubbing with a paste made of vinegar & borax? or vinegar and baking soda?
