Did anyone buy
Did anyone buy or get a wooden rocker instead of a glider? Opinions?
I really want the upholstered glider but I can't see paying that much for one. The wooden gliders don't match my nursery furniture. TIA

They have inexpensive gliders at Wal-Mart and K-Mart. It's nice to have the ottoman too. You can rock the baby with your feet up which is nice at 3am.

I had trouble finding a glider that matched my babys furniture too, but i found a nice one on BABYSRUS online that came with the ottoman and wasnt expensive, plus you can see what other people thought of it.

I agree...I got mine really inexpensive from target.com
The one I REALLY want is from Target but they want $170 to ship it and I just think that is insane!!!

I have a wooden rocker that belonged to my grandma. I see no purpose in spending the extra $$ for a glider. The rocker works well and it does essentially the same job. Just make sure you buy one that is comfortable.
Everytime I go to eat at Cracker Barrel they have a whole row of wooden rockers lined up for people to sit down and wait. I always find them comfortable.

I agree...I got mine really inexpensive from target.com
I registered for mine at Target ($199 for chaie & ottoman) and got it!  And it happens to match the furniture almost exactly.
