diaper rash remedy with maalox
DD has a really bad, bleeding diaper rash from the diarrhea from her antibiotic. I remember reading somnething about maalox. How do I use it?

It works good, just make sure to buy the original one. My SIL accidentaly used the mint one and her little boy was screaming. But once we got the original one it was so much better. Cleared it right up.
You just pour it on, maybe use a cotton ball.

My ped said empty a tube of Desitin and add a few tablespoons of Maalox to make a thick paste. It worked wonders.
I used the original Desitin tho, not creamy. It's thicker so it stays on and protects longer. HTH.

I made that mistake  I really thought I got the original. The others had cherry and all this other flavors. I didn't see the mint on it until after she screamed. I feel horrible!! I will have to try another cvs tomorrow and hopefully they will have it. I am the worst mommy!
