Diaper pail vs. odor blocking garbage pail (ie. Simplehuman)
I am thinking of just paying a little more upfront for a 30 gl. Simplehuman that I can use regular trash bags in vs. a specific diaper pail that is about the same price (I'm looking at a $40 Simplehuman that I can get at BBB and use a coupon) that needs specific refills..we have a Simplehuman for the kitchen and the smells are under control so I am not that worried about that...thanks for your thoughts!

Personally I would go with the diaper pail for two reasons - 1. the diaper pail is more discreet and will look better in the room than a garbage can, and 2. even if it keeps odors in while the lid is closed, you still need to open it to throw the diapers in and then it might smell.

I'm getting the simple human. We have one in the kitchen and it works great. I really don't want to have to go to BRU or BBB every time I need garbage bags.

This was my thought process..I also can't imagine leaving diapers in the can for days on end...

We have a SH in our kitchen and we stop buying the refills years ago. We use regular garbage bags and they work fine.

Right..which is why I'd prefer it to a limiting diaper pail
