Yay or nay? Live in a 2 bdrm coop take the garbage out every other day usually...do we need this??

i say no b/c it's more clutter but some people swear by it. I also live in a 2br co-op, but we have a trash chute so that's where my diapers are going.

we are not getting one. i usually feel like they smell (from visiitng other people who had them) and IMO i just feel like its unsanitary to have soiled diapers hanging out in the nursery. We have 2 dogs and already have designated "poo pail" outside for when we walk them. So we will just bring it outside.

We used to live in a co-op and i LOVED the trash chute. I miss having it so close by my door to throw out anything nasty you didnt want in the apartment.

registered for one. got it and then returned it and put it towards another carseat base
We buy the scented garbage bags for DS room. Pee pee diapers go in the garbage and all garbage gets taken out at night. Poopy diapers go right in a plastic bag and out to the garbage can in the garage

We will be in a 2br too and I waver especially since out current building has a trash chute. We are currently leaning towards trying it out bc the pail is cheap and it's the bags that get pricey so no big investment if we don't like it. Much cheaper than the simplehuman bin I would want to get for the room if we didn't try the genie. I still waver tho so well see

We registered for The Diaper Genie II, We live in a 1 bedroom Garden apartment and the crib/changing station will be in our bedroom.
A trash chute would be glorious!
Hopefully it squashes all smells.

Nay, i hate the diaper genie, PITA and very smelly. We did the Diaper Champ and love it. I registered for one for DS for his nursery.
