TIA everyone for helping me out!

Re: Diaper Cake
I roll them around one another. I use the cardboard from a paper towel roll, start with wrapping the first diaper around it, then the second and so on. When it gets near the end, it is tricky because the diaper cake gets fat and then more than one diaper needs to go around the circle. I try to just keep wrapping, fast and tight so that I do not need pins or tape. If I do use pins, I use HUGE diaper pins so that the person is sure to find them before using the diapers. Sometimes I will use the pins as decoration on the outer layer.
If you start to make a lot of cakes, you really learn what products look nice on the cake. I have been able to use decorative washcloths to cover any diapers that didn't come out neat looking. I used to make cakes all the time but it has been a while. I've made all sizes but I mostly made big cakes with up to 50 diapers. The cakes get expensive b/c diapers plus all the accessories can really add up. Some dollar stores have some things that work really well but I stick with higher end diapers so that the baby's parents will want to use them.
