dh's sonogram
dh went for his sonogram this morning and they found a small varicosele. the dr who did the sonogram said it could be a factor in the infertility but she didnt think so. there has to be something that is causing him to only have 8% normal shaped sperm! so the sonogram will be sent to the urologist and he will go for the repeat SA next week. so hopefully we will have an answer soon!

Just wanted you to know that my DH has 5% normal shapes and we got pregnant once on our own (good have been a fluke), and twice with IUIs (I lost all three -- long and horrible stories  ). So IUI might be okay for you guys because they wash the sperm and keep only the good guys.

Good luck! DH had a varicocelectomy on his remaining testicle, since it was very bad. While almost everything improved, his morphology has not yet improved. It's still early on and he'll have another SA in a few months.
