First let me say that I LOVE my DH. He is wonderful in so many ways, but . . .
He is SO clueless sometimes!!!!
I should also mention that he works A LOT and I only work a few hours a day. But he also is incapable of helping out at home when he's stressed at work and lately it seems like he can't get through a day without calling me to do something for him.
Today I worked 4 hours (out of the house) and I am not feeling well (probably the first time in 6 weeks that I've felt the need to take a nap). I also have to do laundry, cook dinner, prep for a BBQ we are hosting for his students tomorrow, and clean the whole house, but he just called to ask me to deliver a pair of shoes to him at work -- because apparently he wore the wrong kind. Now, we live very close to his job (he teaches at a college), but still -- I have to stop everything I'm doing to bring him shoes!!!!!!!
When I get into my 3rd trimester and he's off from work I'm going to make him into my slave!!!!!
My DH is very good too but I have to say that since I work from home he doesn't really do as much as other husbands that I see on here, and sometimes I really can't blame him. I am home all day and can sleep when I want but sometimes it is nice for them to take over and say that they will handle things.
Im usually the type of person that likes to get things done...I dont work outside of the home...but I do have all these kids and I tend to babysit quite a bit too..ANYWAY..I have to give my DH credit and say that he has respected the fact that Im essentially extremely limited as to what Im capable/willing to do while preggo and has picked up most of the slack.
