DH is so funny
so, DH is REALLY scared of newborns. he didn't touch any of our nieces and nephews until they were at least 3-4 months old. Not to mention he's a total clutz and is always dropping one of the kids!
SIL just had a baby last Tuesday and we were over this past weekend.
DH wants to wait till after the first trimester to tell our families. Well, he almost spilled the beans this past weekend. He was all over his sister to show him how to hold the baby and SIL was like "what gives? You never wanted to hold my older kids when they were born" and DH said "well, I need to practice and get comfortab . . ." and then bit his tongue.
SIL looked at him funny for a minute and he just looked down at the baby like he didn't say anything odd and SIL was like "well, don't practice on mine!".
Needless to say, he did a wonderful job with holding my new nephew and couldn't get over looking at how beautiful he was. It melted my heart to see him preparing himself!!

aw, thats cute...hes getting ready!!
My DH is afraid too...our friends just had a baby and he had to be forced to hold him (who was 2 weeks old). He was so scared but he swears it will be different w/our son. We'll see!!

my DH never held a baby ever!!!
once we were at his brothers house and his nephew was like 10months and I told him go grab him for what ever reason I dont recall but he siad NO I was like WHAT!!!!! so I ran and got him he said I never held a baby.... OOOOOO
Well things are gona change now !!!

aww cute
I think DH has held more newborns than I have. I don't think I've ever held a newborn. They've always scared me too. They seem so fragile, and I'm a klutz!

Aw, that's too cute!!!
DH and I were in BRU this weekend and he was asking everyone with a baby "how old" because he wants to get a good idea of how big the different ages are!
Our men can be so adorable sometimes!
