DH is seeing
a Urologist due to his low Testostore levels and he has other issues not fertility related. I know that Low testostrone doesn't necessarly mean low sperm count but it could mean it so we are having it checked out. Should I go see an RE also or wait to see what his results say?
We have been trying for 8 months and my DH will be 43 soon and doesnt want to try for much longer.
Thanks

Re: DH is seeing
Check with your insurance to see if they'll cover IF treatments if you've been trying less than a year. Some are sticklers for that. If so, then I say go for it -- esp if your DH is going to run out of patience sooner than later.

Re: DH is seeing
I agree with the pp... It might be a good idea for an RE to be doing some testing to see if there is anything going on with you while your husband is getting checked out also. That would prob. just speed the process along a bit. Good luck!

Re: DH is seeing
I would definitely see an RE as soon as you get the SA back. My DH had the same issue & his testosterone levels were definitely making his sperm count low (although that wasn't the only issue). If he gets treatment now to raise his levels it will take 3 months for that to take effect. I would suggest he see a urologist that specialized in infertility. Good luck!
