DH has to stop watching the Discovery channel with DS

DS came home from school today with some artwork so I asked him what he drew (he's four and usually I can't tell). There were some blue wavy lines that were waves in the ocean. Then in the ocean there was a black area which he said was garbage, a green area he said was poison and a purple area he said was toxic waste! He said the bad people put it there. I'm glad he is eco-aware but he's only four. I'd like him to have his innocence a little longer.

DS's 1st grade teacher told us that DS wants to recycle *everything*. Doesn't matter what it is, he needs to recycle it. There's a list of things the class likes to do, posted outside the classroom. I looked through the list and asked his teacher, "I guess this one is my son's?..." Yup.... his favorite thing to do is Recycle.....
