DH & I Are Sick!!!
We have pretty nasty colds.
I just hope that our daughter doesn't get sick...I'm so worried!
Add this cold to major sleep deprivation!

 I think I had a cold the minute I left the hospital.....
and luckily Aly did not get sick! Starting taking extra vitamin C and LOTS more fluid!
feel better....get some rest!

Welcome to the wonderful world of babies! DH and I haven't been sick in over 3 years, but ever since Alex went to daycare, we've all been sick! I'm hacking as I type 
Edited to say - if you're BFing, it's actually really good for Alexandra so she can get all the antibodies your system is building up while you're sick. I've noticed that while DH and I are hanging onto these colds for 4+ weeks now, Alex recovers within days

When I had a cold and my son who is now 3 1/2 was a baby I used a mask (surgical) when I fed him to prevent germs

Yeah, I'm taking Zicam actually.
However I think I caught it too late .
About the surgical mask, the Pharmacist told us that it won't do us any good , apparently it prevents bacteria from spreading but not a virus? Who knows. DH was wearing one for a few days though.

My OB Nurse said it's fine. It's really just zinc- isn't it?

Definitely keep BFing!
DH has been sick 3 times since Miranda has been born and I have not gotten it and neither has she and I totally believe its because she has my antibodies.

It's not so much breathing that spreads germs either. It's the one on one contact.
You can only do so much and my son was sick at 2 weeks. I felt bad, but he was fine.
