Destination Maternity PSA

Hi Ladies
In September I went to Destination Maternity in Riverhead. At the time of my purchase the girl asked if she could have my address so I coould get coupons, and that I would also get a free issue of Parenting.
I received the 1 free issue and nothing else.

Last week I get a bill of $20 from Parenting saying my account is past due. When I called them they were really nice and cancelled the charges but they said I had signed up in September 09 (had to be Destination Maternity). So just be carefull if you go on their supposed mailing address

I better call them too! I am getting Parenting that I never ordered as well!

I only got the one issue but then got a bill for an entire subscription. The people at parenting were really nice and fixed it quickly

I specifically asked them if I would get charged automatically and they said yes but they should clearly state that upfront (without one asking).

Now when I go in there and they ask if I'd like a free subscription, I actually say "oh you mean the SCAM? no thanks!" (I'm such a crank when I'm PG )
