dessert for a bbq

Going to my sil house this weekend it just dh and I sil and bil and my mil and fil...I am already making cheesecake stuffed strawberries a like half dozen cake balls....what else should I bring or is that enough,....what's ur quick and easy dessert??

i love that "dirt" dessert that people make. i have no idea how to make it but i love to eat it haha

My go-to summer dessert... SO GOOD and SO EASY!

AMBROSIA SALAD

2 cans pineapple chunks, drained
2 cans mandarin oranges, drained
2 jars maraschino cherries, drained
1 can coconut flakes
1/2 bag mini marshmallows
4 oz. sour cream
16 oz. Cool Whip

Combine sour cream and Cool Whip. Fold in all other ingredients. Chill covered for at least 2 hours.

I think two desserts is more than enough for you to bring, especially since it is only 6 people.

My go to summer desserts are usually something tangy or involving fresh fruit. I like fruit pizza (but I skip the sugar cookie bottom and do graham cracker or regular pie crust otherwise I find it cloying. I like lemon meringue pie and trifles are fantastic for summer too. Of course people love them some chocolate so I generally try to have something like that on hand.

My DH's aunt makes this and its sooo good...love it!
