depressed, anxious,sad...
So here I am 2 days away from my due date with my second and Im so upset. Not only have I been having false labor for over a month, but my induction for today was cancelled because an emergency came in last minute my dr said this rarely ever happens- sweet...
I started my work leave, my Dh started his and we told my 4 yr old that he was getting his brother today as well as the whole fam that the 16th was it.
Rewind to a few weeks ago the dr were pushing to have me induced because of my " large" baby- got it cleared for 38.5 weeks on OCt 9th. I wasnt feeling 100% on board that this was the right thing to do, so early,wanted to give myself another week to progress. Finally a spot opened up a few days ago to be induced on the 16th 2 days before DD and I jumped on then yesterday found out it was cancelled.
So now here I am no baby, tons of false labor, yesterday my dr strips membranes and says you will probably go in tonight and I didnt. I had 1 hour of false labor and back to square one. Im tired,uncomfortable, cranky and waisting my mat leave with no baby.
Im sorry this is so long winded I just need to vent. Im going to be trying all the natural remedies to go into labor because I really dont want to go past due. Esp since Ive been thinking Im going to go early for weeks now.

Hmmmm--this may not be right, but if you are feeling "false labor" can you show up at the hospital anyway thinking you are in labor, and then maybe they will induce? They can't turn you away if you're in labor, or think you might be.
Just an idea...again, probably not "right".

i feel ur pain!!! i wasnt told im gonna be induced, but today is my due date. i cant believe how frustrating this process is. i hope we both have our babies very soon!!!
