Dentist
So what is the deal with the dentist? Do we need more frequent cleanings? I just had one at the end of December. Anything else teeth-related that I should know? TIA!

Re: Dentist
I went to the dentist the day I got my BFP and had to tell them. I wasn't allowed to have x-rays, and they want to see me again in 6 months.
He said just to make sure that I brush my gums very well because of the bleeding that started bc of the pregnancy. He said it makes it easier for food to get trapped and that isn't good.
So just brush extra, and go to the dentist when they call you in again.

Re: Dentist
Because of the threat of pregnancy gingivitis (doesn't seem to be a problem for everyone), it is recommended that you get a cleaning every 3 months rather than the normal every 6 months. Not everyone does it though. I'm doing it...it's not so bad. I ask for topical anesthetic before each one though because I feel like my gums are mroe sensitive since getting PG.
