What if you give her 1 days worth of pay instead of a full week as a bonus?
I was planning on giving her 3 days as a bonus..so a bit more than half....I was only wondering if she is expecting more.

She will probably understand especially if you were hit by the storm. I might suggest getting a small little token gift along with the 3 days pay so she feels as special as she is.

I would be honest and tell her that. Maybe after things get a little more comfortable with finances, you can give her a bonus then. I also think that giving 3 extra paid days off is a nice way to say thank you if you can't give financially.
