Delayed reaction time
I am 29 weeks and I find my brain slowing down!! This morning I was putting my breakfast in the car and tilted my travel mug, spilling hot tea over my hand, it literally took me almost a minute to realize what was happening!! I really hope it was just a bad morning because this can get dangerous!!! Anyone else having issues with reaction time? I feel like my brain isn't functioning properly!

Delayed reaction time
That hasn't happened to me yet but I will forget how to operate things, like my phone or even the microwave. This kid is going to be SUPER smart because he is making me SUPER stupid!

Re: Delayed reaction time
Yes! Not only that, but I forget words of every day items. I'll ask my kids or DH to get something for me, I can stare at it, but not remember the name of the item. It can be as simple as, "Please pick up that ....that.....that......towel for me." It's like the baby has sucked the brain right out of me.

OMG YES!!! Last night I had to give a presentation and I could not for the life of me remember the word Sportsmanship! HAHA!!! I have no idea how I described it without the word but I just laughed it off and joked, "I'm pregnant I can do what I want" Everyone laughed.....So embarrassing though!

Re: Delayed reaction time
Sorry but this doesn't go away once the baby is born....sometimes it's worse!! You officially have baby/mommy brain.

Re: Delayed reaction time
It doesn't end once you give birth! I gave birth three weeks ago and I burned my and twice by picking up a hot pan with my bare hands.
