dehydration question??
DD has had diarrhea since wed. night. I now can't get anything into her. no fluids no food...NOTHING!! I called the ped. to leave a message for the doctor and the told me this is an emergency and I have to bring DD in.
My question is how do you really know DC is dehydrated? and if she is on her way there what do they do?

They will probably examine her and if she is dehydrated they will probably give her some fluids (usually iv) Hope your dc feels better soon.

the soft spot on her head will be a little indented, Also no pee or very little..dry diapers, When they cry no tears.
These are probably things the doc will check, soft spot and diaper.
