Defrosting breast milk
I have a stockpile in my freezer for the end of the month since I am leaving my DD with DH overnight. I will be gone for about 24 hrs. Do I defrost the milk in the fridge in advance for him to use?
TIA

Re: Defrosting breast milk
I used to take it out the night before & put it in the fridge or defrost it when I used it.
I wouldnt do it ahead of time.

Re: Defrosting breast milk
You are supposed to put it in the frig and let it defrost for no more than 24 hours. However, I found that sometimes it did no unfreeze by then! So, I would just put it in a bowl of hhot water to thaw and then pour it in his bottle.
