Re: Deer Park vs. Riverhead Outlets
riverhead has several more stores than deer park, but for me deer park is closer and i like the feel of it more. you can walk around to pretty much all of the stores without having to drive to the other part like you do at riverhead. also, i love the christmas tree shop and that's only in deer park!

Re: Deer Park vs. Riverhead Outlets
Well, I live in DP so that would be my vote soley on distance but some stores in RH that aren't in DP: J.Crew, Coach, Ann Taylor Loft, Cole Haan, and Victoria's Secret. DP has Christmas Tree, and that's about it that Riverhead doesn't have. Happy shopping!

Re: Deer Park vs. Riverhead Outlets
as the previous posters said, riverhead had a lot more stores. if you're going to make a trip of hit, def go out there. i like DP for it's convenience since it's so much closer, and i can hit it on the way home from work, etc.

Re: Deer Park vs. Riverhead Outlets
I'd say Riverhead for two reasons. First of all, i'm in my 3rd trimester so DP was miserable b/c I had to walk way too much and I"m really uncomfortable but that's probably unique to me. Second as a AAA member I get a free coupon book and the book I was given at DP had way less coupons in it than the one in Riverhead so I was not a happy camper b/c there was one coupon I specifically wanted and didn't get and so even though it was shorter drive it was still a hike for no reason! If you like to walk then it will be fine and if you're not in it for the coupons then go for it

Looks like they are going to open moresores in DP. Anyone know what's coming? I do wish there was a coach store.

Re: Deer Park vs. Riverhead Outlets
I prefer the Riverhead ones. MUCH better stores, and they are actual outlets, unlike the Deer ark ones, were some stores aren't really outlets just regular stores.
But Deer Park is easier to navigate driving, prettier and has better food. Also a movie theater

Re: Deer Park vs. Riverhead Outlets
I was just at the DP ones and OMG was it mobbed!!!
I do wish there were more stores though. I must have passed about 20 empty stores that said "another great store coning soon".
But it didn't say what stores

Probably because there really isn't a store going in there - it really should say "for rent" but 'great store coming soon' sounds better
