Decrease in movement

I know there is a point when it gets crowded for baby and there is a decrease in movement but i remember it being closer to 36 weeks. Im only 30 and its significantly less. When did you notice a decrease?

Re: Decrease in movement

I'm 34 weeks and have started noticing this. The movement just feels lighter, more fluttery than kick-like. My doc said not to worry as long as I feel movement of any kind at least once an hour.

Re: Decrease in movement

i started noticing it at 28-29 weeks. i asked my dr at my 30 week appt, and she said it was normal to start around them, but had me start kick counts to make sure that there wasnt a problem.

I would absolutely call your doctor ASAP if you're noticing a significant decrease in movement. Let them decide if it's worth worrying or not. Worst case they have you come in for a sono and you get to see LO and make sure all is well. I hope it's just a fluke!

I actually had to go for a sono last thursday because of significantly decreased movement. baby is fine, but she's breeched, so tech thinks she has very little room to move.

regardless, it is scary, so glad to hear you just felt something!

Decrease in movement

I never got decreased movement. He was super active all the time. Some days a little quieter than others but most of the time he was all over the place.
