decorative plates

i got a set of four decorative plates as a wedding gift. each plate has a replica of a painting by a dominican artist. each plate is about 8" diameter.

i want to display them in the new house.

does anyone know, off hand, of where i can see pictures of how to display decorative plates?

i'm not sure if to do a "border" or if to put them in a "square" formation.

any help will be greatly appreciated, since i don't have a decorative bone in my body

Re: decorative plates

My mom has some plates diplayed

one collections is in a border type position, there are about a dozen of these plates

the other collection is in a postion like a 5 on a die (2, then one, then 2).

I guess it depends on how many plates you have

Re: decorative plates

Or, if you are like us and just dread putting holes in walls, display them in a curio cabinet.

But here is a website that offers ideas, no pics-sorry.
