Decaf coffee
Anyone still drink coffee/latte but switched to decaf? The latte still tastes just as good but for some reason, I can't get used to decaf coffee. Did you switch to decaf or give up coffee completely?

Re: Decaf coffee
I switched to decaf. I'm having a hard time with it, but just love to drink something warm in the mornings. I guess it will have to do!

Neither- I still drink caffeinated coffee. There is no reason to give up coffee completely just keep your caffeine consumption under 200 mg per day- the Starbucks website has the caffeine content of all of their drinks listed under nutrition.

My OB & RE said 1-2 cups a day then decaf, but me being me, I still worry. Well, not as much now.
I know Starbucks has more caffeine than DD but I love my pumpkin spice.

Re: Decaf coffee
I tried, but I can't switch. I have about a cup and a half/ day. I need my morning coffee and then I have a half cup for my afternoon pick-me-up. I've done this with all my kids, and everything is just fine!

Re: Decaf coffee
Neither I drink regular coffee every day - I did the same when pregnant with DS (even though I really didn't crave it with him - I wanted tea more than coffee).
My doctor told me a cup a day is fine - heck I even have 2 here and there.
I'm not a soda drinker so I like to use my caffefine ration on coffee

Decaf coffee
I'm not a coffee drinker but I've heard that espresso drinks have less caffeine than regular coffee.

I gave up coffee with my first pregnancy, but this time I've been having one cup or regular or 2 cups 1/2caf a day.

Espresso has less caffeine than brewed coffee.
ETA: according to the Starbucks website a grande pumpkin spice latte contains 150 mg of caffeine- the website states the values are approximate.

Re: Decaf coffee
I'm not drinking any caffeinated beverages - I got a decaf iced coffee and decaf pumpkin spice latte a couple of times just because I missed the taste and act of drinking these seasonally yummy things. I haven't tried straight decaf hot coffee because I don't think it will taste as good as regular. I do miss the ritual of my daily coffee but my body totally adjusted to the lack of caffeine within a week.

Decaf coffee
I drink half decaf/half regular when I order from SB or DD. at home I only make one pot, always regular. The only reason why I do half and half is because I get very bad palpitations. Otherwise I'd say that I take in little to no more than the recommended caffeine intake.
