Dear strangers, acquaintances, friends and family...
...passersby, people at the gym, the lady standing behind me at the supermarket...etc
Please stop asking me about my weight.
Actually, I don't mind discussing pregnancy weight in general terms and I will even gladly give you numbers on my previous pregnancies if you rudely insist.
But I am pregnant NOW. And I am gaining weight and I am self-conscious (you GLARING at my belly doesn't help) about it regardless of how carefully I watch what I eat, despite the fact that I still work out 4 - 5 times per week, and despite that fact that I've done this a couple of times before.
For you to PRESS and INSIST (after I politely change the subject, dance around it, give vague answers,etc) that I give you an ACTUAL NUMBER of how much weight I've gained at this point is not just rude, it's obnoxious.
And next time I'm going to tell you so in just as rude a way.

Just lie if you don't like the number, I almost always lie about my weight, preggo and non  People are insane, what a question to ask! (they ask me to and I am  everytime!)

i've been asked a couple of times.. i just say "a lot".. and they usually get it. idk why people think common courtesy, manners and etiquette all goes out the window when speaking with a pregnant woman..
