Dear Stop & Shop Customers
Yes, that was my child screaming bloody murder while I was standing on line at the deli counter. No, there was nothing I could do about it. Yes, I had to place my order right then and there. No, it wasn't for some grand party I am having. It was lunch for 40 homeless AIDS patients.
Thank you for the rolling eyes, the fingers in your ears, the comments muttered under your breath, and a special thank you to the lady who walked away while commenting that I couldn't control my child.

As soon as I pushed the stroller away from the deli counter she stopped screaming - as if she had never started. She was quiet as a church mouse all the way out of the store, into the parking lot, into the car, for the entire ride home, and in fact all the way up until the moment I took a hair ribbon away from her. THEN she threw another fit (although at least I know why she had that one!).
She's asleep now.

I would love to look right back at them and be like "Yes, can I help you?".
Seriously, I rarely even bother anymore!
Peapod is my new best friend. If not, then, I go to IGA either when Bry is in school or even if he's with me. I find there is never a line there!

Only parents can understand.
Unfortunately, thats the way it is. I used to get annoyed at screaming kids in stores until I had one of my own. Completely changed my outlook.
So sorry you had to deal with that.
