Dear Mom......AKA Grandma-to-be
Last Thursday we found out what the little one is going to be..YAY!! From the minute we walked out the door, I was super affraid to call you because of what was to come. I know you are super excited to be a first time grandma and to top it off have a little grand daughter...BUT.....PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE stop buying her stuff. She seriously has more clothes than me already and we only found out 5 days ago. We are moving and right now have nowhere to put anything, so please calm down for a couple months, til we have a place for everything and then go crazy!! Thanks Grandma!!

I am right there with you. After having had 2 boys and now am PG with a  I too am having a REALLY hard time reigning in the grandmothers.

Your mom sounds just like my mom. My mom is SUPER excited about being a grandmother that sometimes she gets carried away with everything. She is planning my shower and she is acting as if it is a wedding.LOL.
Try to bear with she is just SUPER excited. Your mom is over the moon right now.

awwe good luck maybe you can just talk to her and say too many clothes she may nver be able to wear ect .. may outgrow them fast.

Just wait until she's born!!! I thought we got a lot of stuff before the baby came - it was NOTHING compared to the amount of stuff we got once she was born!!
Enjoy it!! And ask if your mom can store some of the stuff at her house until you have the room!!

OK, now I feel like her...I went to baby gap on my way home and I was like a kid in a candy store. I bought a few adorable outfits and a little bikini for next summer, everything was like $4. Bad me!! Unfortunatelt I don't want to store stuff at her house because she smokes and I have become extremely anal, even though I know I am going to wash the clothes.
