Chat Icon My DH will pretend he's sleeping through it if it's in the middle of the night, but if he's just about to get up or IS up, he knows it's his "job" to cuddle that boy for 2 minutes and get him back to sleep. Chat Icon

Re: Dear Hubby-

Not *all* men..... I was up last night until about 2am, dealing with DD. She started crying like she does once in a while. Usually just wants her pacifier. After several very close to each other, I just turned the monitor off, and sat on the computer near her room, so DW could get some sleep. She wasn't overly upset, just wanted her pacifier and/or turned away from the edge of the crib every 15 -30 minutes for a few hours....

My hearing is more sensitive than DW, so I'll often get up and deal with DD without waking DW. DW gets up more often than I do, but i do make efforts to let her sleep when possible.
