Dear DH,
we have been married for almost 5 years...
known each other over 10...
and have been together 7 as a couple.
We complete each other's sentences, and think the same twisted thoughts.
you obviously have met me before...
so why are you so shocked when I am ALWAYS right about things. (like not listening to me when I asked you twice to re-measure the area where the fridge goes. yes-ing me to death only required you having to sheepishly call the store and get a size smaller because it was incorrect as I suspected)
Get over it honey, I know it all. And don't ask how, it's just a gift.

I'll often admit to DW that I think she's wrong on something, then later on find out that she was right....  For the most part, I just assume she's right. Makes things easier that way.

Hmmm... reminds me of what happened last week. The plumber, a contractor, and my DH (a mechanical engineer) could not figure out how to attach our new faucet so that it was tight enough. I did it in 30 seconds. They were convinced that you had to grind back the metal on our undermounted sink to get the clamp on the bottom tight enough. Um... no, you just have to tighten the screws. CONVINCED that a woman couldn't be right, they had to call the countertop place where we bought the stuff, who called their plumbing specialists to call us back to say "She was right."
Duh. *I* already knew that. Men!
