Dear Colleague,
I'd appreciate it if you'd keep your trap shut if you haven't the slightest clue of what's going on. You should not answer a question you do not understand, and when you do understand a question you respond incorrectly.
I understand that your desk is situated close to the reception area, and when guests arrive they automatically look to you for help but if you don't know....don't LIE!
Q: Excuse me, where is Conference Room B?
Col: Um, that's A, so there's no B.
Me: Sir, B is opposite the hall.
Q: Excuse me, where is the Ladies Room?
Col: Do I look like a woman to you? I'm a man, and use the men's room.
Me: A.Hole...the Ladies room is RIGHT next to the men's room...to say you don't know is absolutely absurd. Please be more mindful to what you tell people!

I don't mean to make light of the situation but for some reason seeing "sensitivity training" in your post made me think of that show "the Office". It seems like something that dumb azz boss on the show would make everyone go to.

I thought the EXACT same thing when my manager said "Let's send him to sensitivity training." I was like "Oh...and I'm going to need you to come in on Saturday."

That would be GGGGGRRREAT! Then after sensitivity traning he can go to flingers for lunch and discuss with the waitress why she is not wearing 23 pieces of flair!
