Dear co-workers,
I understand you have been working in this office for eons, and because of that, you may not be sincerely thrilled at the prospect of working with an attorney who is half your age, and thus feel it is your work duty to repeatedly question my legal opinion with our supervisor...
BUT, let me assure you, I know my stuff, and I can guarantee that each and every time you feel it's your place to question my legal opinion, you will be told "I agree with Beth", by our supervisor, just as you have been told everytime you've done this in the past 9 months.
So, please get over your personal inadequacies, and let me do my work already.

 It suckks Its hard to be a (1) young (2) female attorney these days. Hopefully our daughters will have it easier than us, just like we have it easier than our mothers.

I really hope so, because it is SUCH a tremendous waste of time, and so frustrating, particularly when these are the very same people whose work product is just heinous

ITA. It's so much easier when you can handle matters over the telephone and the other side doesn't know your age, experience, etc. At least it's Friday!

I agree. And I work in real estate law, and do a lot of my work in the south, both rampent with sexism, lucky me! I totally feel your pain.
