Dear BCPs,
I know we had a long and uneventful 12 year relationship. To be honest, I don't know HOW I ever survived. Was I this much of a nightmare during those 12 years, and did I not know any better?
I have rekindled our friendship now for the past 72 hours, and I'll be honest, I feel like an absolute maniac. You make me feel agitated about absolutely ridiculous things, and I feel like a crazy person.
I cannot wait until I am done with you in 19 days.

I know what you mean though. I feel the same way. I think about how many years you spend trying not to get pregnant only to find out its going to take us years and $$$$$ just TO get pregnant. Now theres some damn irony for ya! Simply Amazing!!
p.s. I completely blame BC for my problems too!

Honestly try not to stress too much.. haven't you learned patience by now?! JEEEEEZ Flowerwife! ... At any rate, the 19 days will pass quickly, I promise. They must. Otherwise I am utterly s c rewed since I have 5 weeks till I can even start!  We'll make the time fly together, how's that?! .. We'll take up some hobby or become binge drinkers, because darn it pretty soon we won't be able to!

you know the irony is one thing. but i literally FEEL like a maniac on bcp.  its no wonder most of my close friendships were made before BCP!! i am a raging beotch on it!! i dont know what DH ever saw in me!

I was the Queen of all Beeeooooches on that stuff
So I guess, what I really mean to say is hold on to your seat and get ready for the fun ride

im pretty sure the BCP is in place of lupron. but i will use a lupron trigger before the retrieval.

I was a nut case on BCP too, then i Ovulated THRU that and was put on lupron, THEN i knew what it was to be a complete raving lunatic, seriously loooney. I just tried to stay away from people as much as possible.  It gets better, hang in there

were you on ganirelix as well?
i dont think i will need lupron after BCP (i almost never O on my own so i would literally if i found out that happened on BCP). but i am sure i will be on ganirelix def during the stim and prob right before also, since i have chronic high LH and the ganirelix helps to manage that. but at least the injectables dont really change my whol personality

I was on the BCP's too - I was a looney! I would try to pick fights with my DH and he would say that he doesn't want to battle the BCP's - they always win!!!

I was on BCP for almost 10 years.
When I had to go back on them for this IVF cycle I had the WORST side effects. I was so naseous all the time and it was just horrible. I felt like I had horrible PMS for the whole 2.5 weeks and has such bad anxiety.
I dont get it bc I was on them forever and did not have the same symptoms!

Yes I was on ganirelix after the BCP.
