dealt with a 'LONG ISLANDER" today
a little background... i'm a new yorker by birth  , i am still VERY connected to all of ny. i live in nj.
ok...
i work in a call center for a wellness program. today, i got a call from a lady wanting to enroll. i asked what state she's calling from. she says ny.
i inform her that the process she needed will take about 15 minutes, and if she was ok with that time frame.
THE LADY WENT "NEW YORK" ON MY AZZ!!!  she told me how she's busy and so forth and so on.... BUT she still wanted to do it. when i get to the point where i ask her questions.... she was SO SLOW to respond... i thought she was busy and needed to hurry up 
when she gives me her address... IT'S A LONG ISLAND address... i wanted to laugh and tell her... "lady, be nice. i KNOW people out there!!" 
i, obviously, thought of all of you and wanted to share as soon as i had a chance.
i just hope she's not your neighbor
ok, back to work!
