DD is soo stuffy and congested sounding...UPDATE
Could it be teething? Or do you think she could have a little germ? Should I call the ped? This is the first time she's ever had anything like this..
UPDATE- She has an upper respiratory infection/viral/cold.... He said, Tylenol, Aspirator, Saline Drops, Cold Humidifier...
My poor baby's first cold!

I just asked the same question. My DD has a runny nose and coughing, etc. This is definitely a cold. she has had congestion before and it was teething related, but i can totally tell the difference.
The girls told me not to take my DD to ped. just yet. they cant to anything to a cold. I guess if it gets worse i will take her.

Either way, there's nothing the ped can do. Put a humidifier in her room and use saline drops in her nose. It's really the most you can do. I wouldn't bother with the ped unless you see her run a fever.

DS has had a lingering cold for about a month! Congestion, a little sneezing, a little coughing. I took him to ped twice. There is nothing they can do, but I wanted to be sure his chest was clear and his ears were OK (although he didn't show any signs of his ears bothering him). No his voice is hoarse, so I think I'm going to take him back... I've been using humidifier and saline drops which do help.

ds has a bit of a cold also. runny nose and all. i use nosefrida. it has more suction power than the bulb. click the link provided and you'll know what i mean. it does work well and it helps give ds some relief.

My dd has had terrible congestion and sneezing for a week now. I did not call the ped cause they will not do anything for a cold...I have been running the cool mist humidifer every night and using the aspirator

dd has the samething but on top of it she has a ear ifection so she is on meds for it
