dd is going for her
2 month shots on monday..im freaking out..is there anything i could do to make her feel better? or me? lol..i heard to give them tylenol before hand but the bottle says consult your dr..and the dr was closed today..figures..im so nervous for her...she cries just for a regular checkup..

I never gave tylenol and DD never had a reaction, she just cried for a second or 2 and then it was over. Have your DH hold her and you go out and make the next appt! Don't worry, it's worse on the parents than it is on the kids...

We brought the tylenol with us to the doctor and after DS was weighed, the ped told us the dose and we gave it to him right before the shot. He cried for a few minutes and then was fine.

Definitely true! I always gave tylenol afterwards if they seemed like they needed it.

It's definitely harder on mommy. Be sure to have a paci handy if she takes one or a bottle. My son was always so good with his shots, he rarely flinched or cried. My daughter on the othe hand is a crier, but is soothed very easily. Its definitely harder on the mommies.
