DD had an poopy accident in car seat...help!
It was ALL over her clothes....let me tell you, I was gagging....and there are...um..remnants on the car seat cushion. I mean, it's a kind of dark stain and there is a funky smell when you get up close.
I tried to remove the cushion from the car seat but I'm having some issues with the seat belt attachment.
Any advice? Thank you!

I think someone with the same brand/style of carseat can help... what seat do you have?
also, for the future... at BRU they have store brand (simply for baby? whatever that brand is) 'burp clothes/lap pads'. They are white flannel squares that ae waterproof. We have one in every carseat, seat, and swing of DS's. They catch a good portion of the mishaps

Thanks for the heads up about the pads! I have a Graco Snug Ride.
I had the snugride and washed mine a few times, it definitely comes all the way off!!! I haven't used it in months, so I can't remember if there is a trick to it, but I am sure it tells you in the manual (or online) GL!

Take the car seat out of the car. On the underside of the Snugride there are little hooks and on the cover there are little loops. Remove the loops from the hooks, and the cover should come right off. Throw it in the wash.
If my directions don't make sense, Graco has the owner's manuals on their website.
