DC2 Cake Smash
For older DD, DH and I both went to her cake smash. We got family pictures in addition to pics of her alone and the cake smash photos. I'm wondering if we should do the same for DS? I'm on the fence but leaning towards no because we will be doing family photos probably within a month of his cake smash. I'm trying to do things as fairly and evenly as possible, blah, blah. Thoughts?

DD had a cake smash but we did not do a cake smash for DS. We just did family photos. I was kinda grossed out by the cake smash and all the sticky yucky frosting to clean off of DD that I didn't want to do it again anyway.

Why not just make a cake at home (or buy one), put down a sheet, and let your baby go to town on the cake? You can do it just as cute at home!

Why not? Do you get more pics of DD or spend less if you don't include the family? We don't do family at the same time because I hate to be in pictures and I like more outfit changes for DD.
