Daycare Moms - When they Say 'you supply everything'

What exactly does that mean?
Should I be registering for 2 highchairs and that type of thing ??

What would you suggest?

I'm getting ahead of myself, I have an appt. to visit the place MLK day, but I'm curious .........

If it's a facility or a home based provider, they should provide most of the furniture. You typically provide diapers, wipes, sippies, meals, change of clothes, sheets for crib, utensils, bowls, etc.

I wouldn't put a second high chair on a registry for a daycare. I would probably find a second hand one or purchase it myself.

It usually means diapers, wipes, bottles, change of clothes, food, sheet and blanket, etc. They should have the basics: crib, high chair, bouncy seats, etc.

At mine I supply diapers, wipes, Aquafor, bottles, formula/breastmilk, cereal/oatmeal, change of clothes, blanket and sleep sack for crib.

They supply furniture, bibs, burp cloths, toys, strollers and carrier for walks, Boppy to prop baby up on floor, bouncy seats, etc.

Generally it means diapers, wipes, ointment, food, bibs, change of clothes and maybe blankets (that's what I provide mine).

I've seen places that told me I needed to provide a pack n play if I wanted DD to be able to nap... another place that told me I needed to provide crib sheets and a bouncy chair. I didn't go with either of those places.

Never "furniture" unless maybe a home daycare... I would assume they would have high chairs though... maybe a bouncy seat or a swing, but again - daycares typically have that...

i did not have to supply bibs or burpy cloths. I did have to supply diapers, wipes, formula,bottles, diaper cream, sheets and blankets.

We supply crib sheets, wipes, diapers, extra clothes, all food, bottles, juice, milk, etc.
