I've never been to the one in MD but we took DS last year to PA and will again this year. It's only 5-8 minutes away from Lancaster. So there is a ton to do. Also, Dutch Wonderland is less than 10 minutes away. You could make a whole weekend out of it.

We did the one at PA when DS was 2 and won't do it again and not just 'cus DS is older now.

I thought is was abit of a zoo at the time and the $20+ pp train ride on Thomas was a rip off.

I would have preferred going to the Cherry Crest Farm nearby.

But if your DC loves Thomas, at least go see him and enjoy some of the activites (arrive early though or the lines get crazy long!), but don't bother paying for the train ride.

Thanks for the input! How long is the train ride?
And where's the farm? That sounds like fun!

The train ride is about 20 minutes... My son loved it.. It was worth the smile on his face. He loved the little activities they had. Hand cars for him to ride. Little trains for him to go on. They had a whole tent set up with stuff to do for him... We are going back this year. But I may just do a regular train ride...

I missed out on the farm which looks like a lot of fun too!
