Day Care Moms---Please Come In, Question For You!!! Edited with one more question, sorry!

Hi,

Just a quick question, maybe it's even silly:)

Now that my DD is eating solids (last year I was just sending in bottles), I had a question. Do you send in food (lets say jarred food, yogurts, etc) in advance (like a weeks worth) or do you send it daily? How about spoons, do you keep some there or also send in daily? I am just not sure what people do:Chat Icon

Thanks in advance:)

Additionally, how do you label baby food jars and yogurts? I mean my baby eats right out of the jar so I don't want to waste the labels I bought each day???

I would speak to the teachers to find out what they prefer. At my center most of the parents bring their stuff in bulk. It makes it easier and then we just let parents know when they need more stuff. Parents just leave spoons with us and we wash them after every meal. If you get those throw away spoons it is very easy and if some get lost it isn't a big deal.

You have to see what their policy is. When DS was in daycare they could keep things that weren't refridgeredated overnight.

And I used to keep some jars there as back ups, plus a container of puffs or Goldfish
