Day 3 or Day 5?
I am 40, have 7 good follicles and doing IVF/ICSI. My ER is next week. I had my first IVF last month - we transferred a Day 5 blast and froze another. We had about the same number of follicles on the first try. I know , why just one at my age? We have a 21 month old DS and the idea of twins scares me - we do not have much support and $$$ would be tight as well. Anyway, I know I may not have a choice but what are your thoughts/experience on Day 3 vs. Day 5 transfers. We have also come to terms that we need to transfer2, but no more than 3 embryos this time. I do not want to experience 7 IVFs - if that- to have another child - for financial, emotional and for the sake of my current child.

Re: Day 3 or Day 5?
I am currently 27 weeks pregnant after a 3dt. I think you can have success with both 3 and 5 day transfers, but the big difference in my opinion is how many people typically transfer. Good Luck!!!
