Day 14
ok so I usually o at day 17 on clomid, went today and I have two follies, one on each side...around 13 or 14. I have no tube on the right so Im hoping the left one goes.
Im sopposed to go back Monday and get the Ovidrel shot. Should I bother doing the shot..im doing timed intercourse...my insurance covers nothing so I would have to pay for it...its really adding up$$$

i would say yes you should. as i understand it, the trigger shot causes you to ovulate within a certain time frame which is very important in getting pregnant and it also helps in releasing all mature eggs. if you only have one tube, you want to make sure that egg on the good side drops. good luck!
ETA: make sure you tell your dr that you have no insurance coverage for it. sometimes they have a shot that another patient had donated. i know my dr offered me the shot free one time because someone had donated it. also, check out freedom fertility (ovidrel is cheaper through them than local drug stores).

i would 1000% do the trigger -that way you are nearly guaranteed that you ovulate. however i would think the doctor would want you to wait and see you on monday to make sure the follies are mature before you trigger them since 13 and 14 aren't there yet.

I would def get the trigger shot. It will help to make sure your eggs are the right size when they release. As my Dr. says "You want to make sure you aren't relasing over cooked eggs.!" lol. I always laugh when he says it to me. Also it will make it easier for you to time BD.
