they are saying on the news the supreme ct in Brazil delayed him taking his son home again until february. I feel so bad for this man, his son is already 9 years old

I cannot believe that Obama is unable to "pressure" Brazil with whatever necessary to end this. I know Lautenberg put a trade bill favoring Brazil on hold because of this.

if only it were so simple, but sadly, as we are finding out more and more, Brazil is almost as unpredictable as Venezuela, and is standing up to the US more and more.
Sounds to me, from the story they did on Nightline last night, that the late-wife's family is the one calling the shots, and probably paid off the one judge that placed a stay on the case.
