Date night...need decision help...
Ok...so DS is staying at his grandparents tonight so DH and I are going to have a "Date Night"
I really want some steak and we were going to go to a hibatchi restaurant but I'm having a seafood (especially shrimp & lobster) aversion. The smell of it makes me sick! So then I thought maybe Outback would be better???
I hate making stupid decisions like this
What would you do or any suggestions for steak that won't break the bank on the south shore (merrick - amityville) would be helpful!
TIA

Re: Date night...need decision help...
i love hibachi! not a fan of outback
Edit - i personally think the smells of outback are more food related...the smell at hibachi is more smoke - but you would risk someone at your hibachi table ordering seafood but as long as the sight of it doesnt make you sick you should be ok at hibachi

Outback. I have a terrible adversion to seafood atm and even seeing it grosses me out. I say stick with a place where most people order steak.

But do you guys think the seafood smell is gonna make me sick? It's a Japanese place so there's lots of seafood...that's what I'm worried about. I was at an outdoor party last weekend and i could smell the lobster and it made me so nauseous.

I can smell everything so I feel like the MAYBE you could smell the fish at Hibachi, although that would be my first choice for sure.
But now that I think about it I could go for a bloomin' onion right now... (my ms has been pretty good lately so I've been trying to take advantage and eat!!)

I'd go with hibachi.. i was craving it this weekend as well and went on Sunday.. you really can't smell the seafood amongst all the other smells of all the food cooking.. i think Outback smells more lol

i think with everything cooking at the hibachi place you wont be able to just smell seafood. I think its a safe bet. Have fun!!!

OMG I will never go to the Outback again...totally random coincidence but the last time I went to the Outback, I needed to have an emergency appendectomy the next morning. lol
Hibachi sounds delish! Enjoy either way!!
