dare I say that we're READY?

I think DH and I are now ready for Scone's arrival Chat Icon shocking to even write that!

On the rainy sat, I finished all TY cards for both showers, generated mailing sticker word docs for the TY's and also the birth announcement cards (so I don't have to hand write everything once Scone arrives). On sunday, I bought more PJ's for Scone, DH assembled the swing for our home, did the final laundry load, assembled the pack-n-play for grandma's house, and we put more stuff away.

This morning we installed the carseat base into DH's car.

We literally only have some minor closet organization left to do! Everything else is READY.

It's all getting so real. I'm so tired today. I really just want to get some early labor sign already... maybe lose a plug or something? please!!!!

Re: dare I say that we're READY?

while I WISH it were nesting (or some other early labor sign), I have no sudden burst of energy. I just am normally this regimented..... we've been following the 'to-do-before-baby' schedule for months now.... and it's all finishing up at this point.

I'm grateful for that, becuase I have zero stamina at this point and can barely function. the last few weeks are taxing, to put it mildly......

I feel the same way. I don't think there is anything else I need to do and I am ready for the baby to come on out!! It's a good feeling to know you're ready, but at the same time I keep thinking "there must be something else I need to do!!"

SO ready over here!! I've been nesting like some kind of crazy person, everything is in place, the house is ready, we're ready......now if this baby would just cooperate and get out!! But still no signs of anything.......no mucous plug, no contractions, no dilation, just one chunky little monkey down waaaaay low in my pelvis griding on my bladder. Oh the joy!!!! Chat Icon
