Dance Connection (E.Islip)--Terrific Twos
Anyone have feedback on Dance Connection in East Islip and/or their Terrific Two's class? My DD is 29 months old but is pretty uncoordinated lol. I saw their summer program is 4 weeks and only $30. Has anyone ever done their summer session?

Its in Islip not east islip. My dd is 30 months and I signed her up there but I put her in the Angelina Ballerina class which is 3-5yr olds. Not sure how she will do with the older class but they told me if she didnt like it or wasnt comfortable I can switch her to the 2 yr old class. The reason we went with the 3 yr old class is because dd has been in school for a yr and follows directions pretty well. The woman at the place said the 2 yr old class is more if just a seperation and fun with music class. The place looks great and I am very eccited for dd to start. She cried when we had to leave after I signed her up because ahe hlthought she was going to get to dance hahaha

Thanks! I think we will try the 2 yr old class. She hasn't been in school yet and has only done some library/gym classes with me. She also isn't the most "athletic" lol...she is very cautious and reserved. I'm hoping the class will open her up some more!

The 2 yr old program will probably be great for her. Dd may end up in it also lol so maybe I will see you.

FYI, not sure which class you wanted to go to but the Tuesday morning class is all filled up. They told me if they get more people on the waiting list they will open up a second class. So if you want to go on tuesday mornings call ASAP. They need at least 3 more to add a second class. The second class would still be the same dates and times, just in a second room.

Oh okay, thanks! I will try calling them Monday. I was thinking of the Tues class but I could also do Thurs.

You can sign up for the thursday night class and tell them you want to go on the waiting list for the uesday morning class. Then they just need 2 more to go on the waiting list and they will open up the second class.:o) Also spread the word and see if you can find anyone else to get on the tuesday waiting list.

I put her on the waitlist for the Tuesday class. I didn't realize the Thurs one was so late--such an inconvenient time! She seemed to think they will be opening a 9am class on Tuesday so fingers crossed!

My DD goes to Dance Connection. She is in the pre-K class now. I really like it there.
